Wanting to leave Bahia de Los Angeles & move to a place that we thought would be better protected from the west, we motored up to Isla Coronado….

This week is a video week! That means in the video we are moving forward to Puerto Penasco at the top of the Sea of Cortez….

It was 5 years ago this month when a little seed of a dream popped into my head!

We saw a weather window to continue north from Santa Rosalia. So we left in the evening to sail the 70 plus miles to the next anchorage, San Francisquito.

As much fun as would be to write a little blurb for the blog this week, I’m actually away. So hopefully this video will suffice for now….

We had heard that Santa Rosalia was a charming town but we still were surprised at just how charming & lovely it was!…

Remember Nopolo? I wrote about it a few blog posts ago. Well, now you can see it come to life!…

After all of the different types of anchorages & ports that we had been in, we thought that we had seen the status quo of what the Sea of Cortez had to offer….

Are you interested in sailing? Cruising? Are you serious about it? Because that’s awesome if you are. It’s just that if you are serious, then you should think about these questions…

Agua Verde was a bust. The weather started getting a bit gnarly. So we couldn’t enjoy it at all….

We stayed in La Paz for like what? 2 weeks? Shouldn’t we have a ton of footage from there?….

After we left San Evaristo, we also left socializing behind. We encountered two anchorages all to ourselves…

As much as we were sad to leave La Paz, we were very excited to start sailing up the Sea of Cortez to stop at some islands! I mean, this is the kind of cruising we were looking really forward to.
