Welcome to Our World!

This is going to be a work in progress. -Just like our boat!

Meet Kendall

I’m 51 & time is running out! -Isn’t it for everyone though? Instead of panicking, I decided to go sailing. -Hopefully to a lot of different places around the world.

-I grew up in southern California in Laguna Niguel.

-I’ve lived in Santa Cruz since 1995.

-I’ve been trying to find out where in the world I belong since I was born.

-My head is always in the clouds. I’m a dreamer.

-I’m inspired by music, nature, history & different cultures.

-I believe that differences in people are what makes the world an amazing place.

-And just like this website, I’m a work in progress. Hopefully I will be until I leave this planet.

Meet Zephyr

We adopted Zephyr back in June of 2016 from the SPCA. They estimated that he was 2.5 years at the time. He is absolutely adorable -at least in appearance. I think part of him has retained the wolf gene. He loves playing with his “foxie”. Chasing squirrels & birds & barking at them both. He has a sneezing tic. His favorite foods are carrots, oatmeal, cucumber. He does know a few tricks & I’d like to teach him more. We love him dearly & part of our decision to sail was that he can travel with us. Thankfully, he seems to like it most of the time.

Meet Matt

Matt, what do you want me to say about you?

-That you love pandas, anything watermelon flavored, rodeos & wearing tuxedos?

-Actually the above statement is a total lie. He can’t stand anything watermelon flavored. I’ve never seen him in a tuxedo. Rodeos aren’t on his radar. And who doesn’t think a panda is cute? -But he doesn’t look up panda videos on YouTube.

-Matt was born in Ohio, moved to Kentucky for a brief moment, grew up in Texas & moved to Santa Cruz in 1995.

-He has the best work ethic of anyone I’ve ever known. In fact, I’m glad I could convince him to start making some free time for himself & enjoy it!

-He can figure out how to solve any problem.

-He has a great sense of humor.

-He keeps evolving into more & more of an incredible human being.

Have questions? We’d love to hear them!
