BVIs: May 20th - 30th, 2024
It was a bit of a hard adjustment for me being back in Santa Cruz again after sailing on MerSea for so long. -I think mainly because it was cold & rainy. So, I decided, (after the encouragement of my friend, Melanie), to visit my sister in the BVI!
So, I hopped on many planes & a ferry & eventually got to Tortola. My sister, Brynley & niece, Ayla picked me up & we went up to the house.
There, I got to see my other mother in-law, Dominique! And then I think we all immediately changed & went into the pool, since it was very warm! So lovely!
In the evening, my brother in law, Colin, came home & we all had a delicious dinner made by Domi!
And that’s the most of a play by play of my trip that I’m going to do. It’s such a beautiful place, filled with beautiful people. -That I think I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves.
The very long 1st 24 hours… A car to a plane, to another plane, to another plane, to a ferry. Definitely worth it though!
The next day, Brynley, Ayla & I went to the beach.
Beach day with my sis & my niece!
Jost Van Dyke outing.
The weekend came & Colin had the days off. So, we took the powerboat over to Virgin Gorda for the day & evening with friends, Amanda & Marc.
