A Month To Go!
Yes, only a month to go before we are sailing down the coast on MerSea! However, as you know, the weather has the final say. So we can’t exactly pinpoint the date. But we have somewhat of an idea.
Therefore, these next few blogs might be a little short & sweet. -Depending on what issues come up before our departure. Although, some of you may appreciate the less wordy blogs.
Anyway, here are some projects that have been coming along:
I’m stoked, as I’ve now finished both the stern panel & one of the side panels for the cockpit. I’m almost done with the other side panel. So excited to see how warm they are going to keep us. Although, it’s been super nice in Santa Cruz lately. -A rarity. So we might have to test it out around midnight or something. Yeah, actually I don’t see that happening.

Since we’re going away longer this time than last year, we are bringing more stuff & that requires more thought on organization. -Which basically means taking everything out of it’s hiding place & getting more orderly with it.
Now for the slow steps to organization.
Vacuum packed sheets. Hoping they & our cubbies stay dry.
Took measurements on these shelves, so that I can make better-looking netting to hold everything in when we are heeled.

What has Matt been up to? Oh, only fixing the foundation to our house! I’ll put up the finalized photos next week.
We do have a new video out. Unfortunately Matt was busy saving the world so I put together just some bits & pieces. I’d like to thank Zephyr for stepping in on such short notice. He’s usually booked!

I told you it would be a short blog. We definitely aren’t short on projects though! I’m excited to see what we accomplish in the next week. I think it will be mostly house projects & then we’ll jump almost completely over to boat life.
The paparatzi came to watch Zephyr getting his nails done! He is not amused.
