A blurb, a video & some merch walk into a bar….

Just kidding! I mean, like any of them can walk! What I actually want to convey is that it’s a video week, so the blog is going to be short. We are starting to go out & enjoy ourselves & hang out with people, so the time to work on these things needed to take up less time. -Otherwise, what are we doing this kind of adventure for? Definitely not to sit inside the boat for hours on end editing videos or writing up little stories. -As much as I do enjoy doing that, I want to enjoy the world around us. Starting to learn how to balance everything. It still takes a lot of work to get all of this out into the universe but I’m not letting it take over my life or start to become a priority to actually “living” life.

And the funny thing is that it hasn’t come as naturally to me as I thought it would. I felt a pang today of not having finished up as much as I had wanted to on the video before going on a hike with friends. So I had to smack myself aside my head to remind myself that every day here is a once in a lifetime experience & also that no one is paying me to put out content. Therefore, if I’m late on getting something done, the worst that will happen is that I’ll beat myself up mentally for a few hours before reminding myself that it’s not the end of the world if I don’t meet my own deadline. I like having the integrity of getting something out every week but there are more important things that may get in the way every once in a while.
