Thanks Dad For Inspiring Me To Sail ~Even Though It's Taken A Long Time

Since today is Father's Day thought I'd just throw a big thanks out to my sailor dad, Terry, for putting the love of sailing into my soul. It sure has taken me a long time to really pursue this but I guess I didn't think it would be financially possible & didn't think I could actually handle a boat. But the world is proving both of those things to be wrong.

It makes me happy that in retirement my Dad can spend so much time doing what he loves & being so good at it. I can always see the joy in him when he's sailing. It's very inspiring that he has kept with it since I was little. So I don't know if I'll ever be as good as him but it's nice to have a role model that takes sailing seriously but also has fun with it.

So thanks Dad! Looking forward to sailing with you again soon!
