A Lovely Little Anchorage & A Lovely Little Marina: December 1st - 5th, 2024

We left San Juanico very early in the morning to get to Puerto Ballandra. -Which is a nice anchorage on the way to Puerto Escondido to break the long passage up.

Puerto Ballandra was our 1st new stop on this voyage. It was very pretty but kind of on the cold side. So we didn’t do much. Or I didn’t do much. If I can remember, I think I may have been fighting off a little cold. So, I really wasn’t in the mood to get in the water. And the time I thought about going to shore, there was enough of a swell that the dinghy landing wouldn’t have been pretty.

Puerto Ballandra - A beautiful anchorage!

But before we knew it, it was time to get down to Puerto Escondido. -Which is 14 miles south. No wind but that’s okay. It was still a beautiful day & we were just wanting to get into the marina as soon as possible to get food & shower & hook up to power. We started to miss those things.

Puerto Escondido - A comfortable & kind of luxurious marina!

Sunset at Ballandra & Sunrise coming to into Puerto Escondido.

Just a few photos of our very quick stay in Puerto Escondido.

Our little video this week features a bit more of Puerto Ballandra & also a bit more of Puerto Escondido. Not a whole lot but…(Spoiler alert! We go back to both of them later on!)

And that’s it for this week! We have limited power at the moment so computer use & WiFi has been extremely limited. We pray for more sun to sky-rocket our solar panels this coming week!

Old but goodie: No one puts Zephyr in a box! -Well, except for us! 😂

Thanks for reading & watching! Next week we’ll be showing you 3 beautiful anchorages!
