It's Raining & We're Not on Our Boat
Anchored near the Santa Cruz Boardwalk
This is to say we've been on our boat a lot in the last several months. We've been either sailing or fixing something. I'm not even sure where to begin, since it's been six months from the last time I posted an entry.
Here's some issues we've had to deal with in the last months.
Getting MerSea out of the harbor! -Actually just really in & out of our slip.
Fixing the main sail slugs.
Dealing with our head issue/odor.
What to do about refrigeration?
Making the v-berth more comfy.
Fixed VHF radio.
Solar.
Oh, & the latest is lifting our half of our galley -to get to our engine -to lift it out -to get to the transmission -to fix the transmission -because our engine stopped just outside of the harbor & we had to get towed back to our slip.
I'm sure there's more but I do have to say that these are good problems to have because it means we have a sailboat! -One we can eventually cruise on down the coast at that!
So I'm just going to put a bunch of random photos taken over the last few months. And then tomorrow, yes, hopefully tomorrow, I will organize my thoughts better & fill in some details.
