The “Plan” Is

Keeping my eyes on this prize!

As we slog along through projects, it’s sometimes hard to remember why we are doing all of this “extra” work. Extra work is necessary because we plan on doing something extraordinary. Sometimes though, it seems as though the payoff will never come.

Yet, I know that isn’t true. So this week I just wanted to remind myself why we are going through stuff that seems to be taking so long. Since we have made the decision that going up the Sea of Cortez is the best itinerary/route for us this season, I thought I’d just post some eye-candy of the Sea of Cortez.

Yep. That is the “plan”. -Ping-ponging between islands & Baja up the Sea of Cortez & ending in Puerto Penasco. Pretty exciting. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing all of this stuff but I know it will be better in person. Hopefully, we’ll get even more spectacular photos!

We have good, amazing friends coming this week! And we hope to take them out sailing. -So wanted to tidy up the boat.

More progress - We, well Matt, got the countertop & backsplash finished! I can’t believe how awesome it looks. There’s still a bit more to do in the kitchen but it’s nice to look at the progress being made!

And that’s pretty much it for this week. Like I said, we have friends coming for a few days & wanted to get this blog done before their arrival. Hence the shortness of this week’s blog.
