Little Miracles
I haven't written in a few days as it's been such a busy week. But in the midst of the week there have been good things happening.
So upon finishing the first sailing session we are able to take out boats if we join the club. The club is usually $150 per person. However, when we asked about signing up our instructor told us that there was a glitch in the system & that it's free right now! So awesome to be able to save that $300 for us!
Upon hearing this, Matt said, "Can we get it free forever or just like 5 years?". To which I quietly did cartwheels in my head as that is the timeline I told him that I'd love to start sailing around the world! So I guess at the time being he's on board with the idea. He can be moody though so who knows if he'll change his mind. But for now that made me very happy. I want this to be his dream too but only if it's genuine & coming from his heart & not mine. I think it is becoming that way for him. We'll see.
So those are two little miracles for this week. Actually they are pretty big to me. So my heart is happy! We also get to take out the boats in the harbor & sail today. Plus it's supposed to reach almost 80 degrees which makes me even more delighted as I hate being cold. And it's been cold for the last several days. I'm basically a lizard. I think 90 degrees is my ideal temperature.
Still getting inspired by reading a ton about sailing in all ways, shapes & forms. Also pinning images of catamarans in places that I'd love to see. Basically keeping my eye on the prize. Excited to eventually be writing from our own catamaran in these places!
Well, got to get going & take care of a few things before sailing.
