What's Next?

Well, in the evening, after we finished our sailing lessons I was going through Instagram when I found something that caught my eye. One of the people that I follow had re-posted an ad about a women's sailing group that is going around the world! So I followed the link & loved what I read about it.

There's a group of women traveling around the world that are researching the damage that plastic has done to our oceans. Here is their mission statement:

ALL WOMEN’S VOYAGE TO MAKE THE UNSEEN SEEN, FROM THE TOXICS IN OUR BODIES TO THE PLASTICS IN OUR SEAS

I find this cause so important & it's in alignment with my values. What they are doing is asking volunteers to come aboard their boat for different legs of the trip. So I applied for two different ones that take place next spring. I am hoping so badly that I get chosen to be a part of this wonderful experience. However, I am praying for a solution of the highest good. -Which means that I hope they will choose whoever is the best fit for the voyage. I learned this from Gabrielle Bernstein, who is an author & motivational speaker & spiritual teacher. She is an amazing woman & I have learned a lot from her.

If I don't get chosen, I believe that something better will come along. So, I've done all I can do & will leave it up to the universe to decide. It's hard to be patient though & not obsess over it. I have enough work though to distract me right now. And I leave for France in a few weeks so I do have something major to get excited about.

Other than that, all I can do is make baby steps towards my dream. In a year I'll look back & be amazed at how far I got. Right now everything seems slow. But like the ocean, there are ebbs & flows in life. I just have to have a good attitude about it all & be joyous in the present.
