Some Dreams Coming True & Some Changes

Where to start? I got back 3 weeks ago from a two week vacation in France! It was amazing, for the most part. I got to spend a total of 3.5 days in Paris & 1 week on the Lot River in Southwestern France. It's unfortunate that 4 days in the 2 weeks were spent actually traveling & transitioning from one place to another. But that's how travel is. And that's why it's hard to stomach going to Europe from California with any less time than 2 weeks.

Here are some thoughts on France:

• People were super friendly everywhere

• Paris & the Lot River 

• I didn't go inside the Louvre, (probably never will) & I didn't go onto the Eiffel Tower. & I didn't feel like I missed out on anything.

• The best view of the Eiffel Tower is not on it.

• Just walking aimlessly around Paris is so fun & interesting.

• You really can't go shopping for anything but food in Paris if you're with my husband. I have to go back with some girlfriends!

• France is cheaper than Santa Cruz!!!

• I loved France & want to go back!

Getting back into my blog slowly. But I definitely have a ton more to write about in the next day or so.
