We Got A Blurb!

Yep! We’ve made it to the pages of Latitude 38!

We’re on page 91 of the October 2024 issue!

So exciting! This week I got a WhatsApp message from my dad, with a picture of the article above & a text that said, “You made it in the latest Latitude 38”! I called him up right away & yelled down below the boat to Matt! We were pretty stoked!

The funny thing is that, John Riise, from Latitude 38, sent me an email. This is what it said, “Kendall and Matt, Checking in again. I'm soon to start putting together Changes In Latitudes for the October '24 issue. This will be the issue most new Ha-Ha'ers will be reading before they take off this year, so I thought it would be interesting to check in with where some of last year's fleet ended up. Hope you'd like to be part of that.”…

I wrote back to him to tell him that we didn’t really get a chance to join the Baja Ha-Ha last year & that we had an “incident” or a couple of them when we were on our way. So, I didn’t know if he’d want to hear from me or not. I said that I’d be more than happy to write something up but maybe he’d want to check out our website to see what exactly happened & to see if it was something he’d like to hear more about. Then I didn’t hear back from him. I thought, oh well, we weren’t really a part of the rally so I wasn’t too fussed. And then a few days ago my dad sent me a text!

Anyway, we’re proud to have an incident worthy of Latitude 38! You can check out the article in the October 2024 issue, on page 91.

Now for something different! I went to the British Virgin Islands in May to visit my sister, Brynley, & her family. I missed her & Santa Cruz was still very cold. So I jetted off to see her! Jet might be the wrong word to use. I think it takes 3 flights & 1 ferry ride to get to her. -Almost 24 hrs! But it was definitely worth it! I took a little bit of video. I didn’t want to always have my camera out so I didn’t get a ton of footage. -Especially of anyone besides my sister & my niece. I promise, that next time I fly out there, I’ll make everyone famous! Just send me an airline ticket!

Isn’t that enough for this week? I thought so! You don’t need to be bogged down with a ton of reading that you won’t get credit for. Well, maybe we’ll have a surprise exam someday. But until then, take it easy.

I came back from the BVIs to find him just where I left him! 🥰
